It has been a very strange 2 years since Covid 19 changed all our lives. 
Along with the increased demand for puppies came, an increased demand of families wanting to know if they have allergies to Australian labradoodles.
 
Even though Australian labradoodles do not shed their fur like we see in some breeds like labradors , and can be classed as hypoallergenic some families will find they do not have allergic reactions and other will find they do have some sort of allergic reactions. It all Depends on your individual allergy. 
 
 
DOG ALLERGY: 
If you’re allergic to dogs, it doesn’t mean you’re allergic to the dog itself. It means you experience an allergic reaction when you come into contact with the protein in a dog’s saliva, urine or particles of their shed skin, dog dander.
 
Being allergic to dogs isn’t easy. Many people have dogs as pets so they can be difficult to avoid. If you're longing for a dog, we do understand. We love dogs too! Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a truly non-allergic dog, sometimes referred to as a hypo-allergenic dog. Any dog can potentially cause an allergic reaction.
 
Dog allergy symptoms checklist:
Stuffy, runny nose
Sneezing
Itchy nose
Itchy, red or watery eyes
Coughing
Breathing difficulties
Tight chest or wheezing
Eczema/skin rash/hives 
Anaphylaxis
 
Since we have been unable to meet families and with all the puppy and dog thefts we are reluctant to meet any families in our home now, until puppy selections. We come up with the idea of Pillow allergy testing. 
 
We will place a pillow case in our home, put it where our dogs sleeep and rub it on their fur. We will then send it to your family and you can put it on a pillow and see if you have any reaction . 
 
We suggest that you lie with the pillow as your face will be sensitive to any reactions that may accur . 
 
We have sent out 10 pillow cases so far and have had mixed results. Which is the point of the test.
