Why Choose Willows ?

We know how daunting and exciting it can be adding a puppy to your family, it's a huge commitment and also an investment.  Any animal you welcome into your home is an extension of you, you have hopes and dreams of what it will be like, it's completely normal to feel anxious and overwhelmed.  We are here to help you!  Here at Willows Australian labradoodles we have worked professionally around dogs for 16 years.  We know what it takes to have the perfect dog.  Everything we do as breeders is to make buying a Willows Australian Labradoodle a happy experience and not a stressful one.

Our Story

Hi, I'm Shannon, owner and creator of Willows Australian Labradoodles and I have been an animal lover since I was a child.  There is not an animal I don't love. All life, whatever you are, is precious!  I was brought up spending school holidays volunteering with my mum at a pony recuse and cats protection league.  Animal Welfare is extremely important to me and we raise every puppy with the love and care they deserve.

Being around animals and being able to work with them everyday is not only a passion but a childhood dream.  I have worked with dogs for the last 16 years and have a very successful doodle dog grooming salon.  This is where my love for Australian labradoodles was born.  Out of all the dogs we groom, pedigree and cross breeds in our busy salon I have never come across a breed of dogs that is as wonderful as an Australian labradoodle.  Australian labradoodles are born to be a champion, and a dog the whole family can enjoy.  Having been brought up in a family that had rescue dogs, rescue cats and rescue chickens its very important to me that our puppies and dogs are raised to the highest welfare standards, and I will champion and help other breeders willing to work to the same high standards we have here at Willows Australian Labradoodles.

not every Australian Labradoodle is created equally so I can't stress enough the importance of buying from a breeder that is doing all the health testing  (not just one test and then claiming that they health test) and raising the puppies in a family home.

Willows Australian Labradoodles Only Breed Genuine Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles

Genuine and Multigenerational is something you will see mentioned a lot on Australian labradoodle breeders websites, well the genuine Australian labradoodles breeders websites!  That is because there are more breeders selling fake and not authentic Australian Labradoodles than genuine ones, and the genuine breeders, like me, don’t want to see anyone being duped or miss sold.  If you are wanting an Australian labradoodle it's normally because you want a great temperament or a therapy dog.  You will not get this with a first generation mix!  It's actually your job to research and find a breeder you like.  You wouldn’t walk into a store, see a Gucci handbag for £3,000.00 and not check it is genuine, or a Rolex watch for over £12,000 and hand over your money and not check its authenticity, so why would you do it with a dog?  Something you will have for the next 12 years or more!  Something that will be around your children and family!  I hate to compare a living creature as special as a dog to a watch or handbag but the reality is people spend longer researching those things.  Most people research a washing machine or fridge freezer more than they do a dog and this needs to change!  The point i'm trying to get across is, please research and don’t just buy a puppy on a sale site because you want a dog quickly. It's important to buy a dog that is from health tested parents and is raised in a family home, preferably around children.  All the best breeders are always reserved in advance.

This is exactly what you can expect from a genuine Multigenerational Australian Labradoodle and this is what you can expect from a Willows Australian Labradoodle puppy.

We have spent over 9 years developing our Willows line and all of our work is in these lines and within our puppies, this is what you are purchasing.  We are Professional dog breeders and have not just decided it would be sweet if our dog had a one off litter.  This is not how breeding works of any breed.  You can choose to go to a professional breeder that has knowledge, experience, and who lives and breathes their dogs and their puppies.  A breeder that does health testing and temperament testing or someone that has no clue and thinks their dog would be a good mum.
